Happy Birthday Tommy/Daddy!

Happy 28th Birthday Baby! We are so grateful for you and the amazing man that you are. It melts my heart to watch you as 'Daddy' and how Brodie wants to be just like you. I'm thankful for a godly husband with whom I'm so in love with and couldn't ask for more. You have so much to be proud of.  We love you and hope you enjoy your special day. 

 Brodie was so excited about making and eating the cake, opening the presents, and singing "Happy Birthday Daddy!" allll day. It was too cute, I'll try to post a video if I can.  It was a special blessing to have such beautiful weather all weekend. We got to hang out and have some family time as well as spend some time with friends. 

It Snowed!!...well a little :)

So it snowed...a little. This is the first snow day we've had that Brodie has been able to go out and play in it. He loooooved it! We went out first thing in the morning and then took a break to get warm and then went back out again. I would be freezing and Brodie would still say "I'm not cold"..haha...meaning he wasn't ready to come in. Daddy got to join us for a few minutes this morning before work. Sugar also loved it and Brodie had a blast laughing at her and throwing snowballs at her. I finally got him in by bribing him with some hot chocolate :).

I told Brodie to say "cheese" and this is the face I got..lol.

Sugie loved the snow too. :)

Update #2

So Tommy is home, thank goodness. And Brodie is now feeling better. I think the fever had to due with his 2-year molars coming in. Tommy threw me a surprise birthday party Friday night. (Yes, he pulled it off without me having a clue...crazy huh?). We went to an all day marriage conference Saturday, which was really good...I'll try to share more later. Just wanted to update you so in case you were wondering....
