Lake Gaston

Brodie and I had to get out of the house to give Daddy some quiet time (to do a final paper for the end of school) sooo... we headed to Lake Gaston with Courtney and DJ for the weekend. We missed Daddy, but enjoyed our time with friends and on the water. Thank you Courtney and DJ for making us feel welcome and for a great time! :)

My little man...soo cute! :) He looooved the boat, by the way.

I know this is a lot of pics but he just thought he was soo coool. He was so content to just sit and ride in the boat. Of course it helped to have wake boarding and tubing to watch.

He flipped them up on his own! lol
Court and DJ playing with Brodie in the lake.

Mommy and Brodie on the tube!!

DJ and Brodie about to ride in the tube. Brodie didn't show too much emotion...just laughed when DJ would make it bounce.
Cute pic...but I'm wondering who was driving the boat? haha

DJ doing some tricks :)

Hmm...why does it look like DJ is about to JUMP on my tube?! lol

HAHA, wonder if anyone fell off on that one?

Courtney and I. Thanks for being one of the best friends I've ever had, I'm blessed to have you in my life.

Tommy's Newest Tattoo

Some Brodie moments...

I guess it's time for new pj's huh? lol

Brodie and Hunter riding. (Of course Brodie chose the motorcycle...I'm sure Daddy and Grandaddy are proud) :)

Brodie was praying...he had his head down on the chair.

He turned around to check and see if Daddy's eyes were closed while he was praying. lol

Brodie figured out how to reach things he couldn't reach before. hmm....

Uh oh...it's stuck! Brodie thinks he can reach it! (Just a little bit higher Aunt Dana!) :)

Pooltime! (or should I say basketball time)

There is a whole toddler area and water park for the kids (you can see the turtle slide in the background). Brodie wasn't even interested, all he wanted to do was "shoot" in the big pool! Getting ready to go UP.

He would dunk it and then he would say "ooooooohhhh!!!!"

He doesn't look like he plans on letting go of that ball anytime soon...lol. His look says "don't even think about it".

What a workout for Mommy and Grandad! This is all Brodie wanted to do at the pool. "Shoot!, Shoot!"

Cookout

We had cookout after church that was a blast then we went to a friends house that had a cookout the same day. I didn't get too many pics but here are a few.

Master Griller here....:) ( and his "mini-me" in the background.haha)

Daddy and Brodie. Those red cheeks are hot!

Brodie, playing with the other kids.

Tearing down...looks like Chuck is having a little too much fun with it though. :)

This pic speaks for itself...haha. One of those "Daddy-son" moments. lol

Bachi ball! I thought the guy in the middle was a hottie. ;)

Family Day At The Beach!!

It was such a blessing that Daddy got off early today so we packed up lunches and enjoyed a great family day at the beach! :)

Daddy and Brodie played and played...I only got a few pics before my camera battery died. :( Daddy would dig holes and Brodie would get in and try to scoop the sand back in while Daddy was trying to fill it with water. We had a blast...and of course Brodie was worn out and fell asleep on the way home.

Hmmm...wonder what trip this was? lol. Thank you Daddy for filling up Brodie's pool. :)

Brodie playing

Soo thirsty...he loooooves any kind of juice box...it's such a treat for him!

Mommy and Brodie reading on the beach. Brodie sees someone sleeping so he is saying "shhhhh". lol

Wish we could do this every day! :)

Happy Father's Day! :)

Tommy, we are so grateful for you. Thank you for being a such godly husband and father. Brodie's is already such a "Daddy's Boy"...you can see his face light up everytime you walk into the room and he runs into your arms saying "Daa-Da". I love seeing the anticipation in his face as he waits by the window each day just to see you pull up. God has given Daddies such a special place in our children's lives...we would pick you out of a million.:) It blesses my heart to tell Brodie "You're just like your Daddy"...and it be such a compliment. Please know how proud we are of you and that you'll always be our Hero. Thanks for being the warrior God called you to be and teaching our son to be the same way. We love you so much and we want to honor you today and everyday.

Running into Daddy's arms.

Daddy kisses!!!

Brodie was excited to help Daddy open his presents and did a very good job!! lol

This is one of Daddy's presents...made especially by Brodie :)

It was a blessing for Mommy and Daddy to get to go out for a ride on Father's Day. We have not been able to go very often lately, so thank you Nana for keeping Brodie for us to go! We had an awesome time and cherish those moments. :)
