Baby Shower

Tommy and I were given a baby shower by my mom and sister. We were grateful for all the friends and family and joined us in celebrating the expected arrival of our new little one.

Linea Nigra (dark line) on tummy? No


Belly button- innie, outtie, or flattie? hm..innie but getting to be a flattie


Stretch Marks? no, thank goodness


Any swelling (rings still on)? just recently! by the end of the day I've got to put these puffy feet up...and rings came off yesterday too. :(


Biggest pregnancy complaint/discomfort? I really don't have much to complain about. I consider it a blessing to be carrying this little one.

Future Baby Shower plans? My wonderful sister did throw us a shower last week!

Pregnancy Extras Planned (3/4D U/S, Pregnancy Photos, Belly Cast, etc)? Tommy is doing a painting with my sillouette. :)

Approximately how many fetal movements do you feel per day? Not sure, but a lot! I count this as a blessing :).

Planning on have a drug-free birth or pain med assistance? Would like to do drug-free again...but no promises! lol

Favorite Baby Find? hmm..we have a few. :) Maybe I'll share next time.

What is the first thing you are going to eat/drink after baby is born? eggs over easy or sushi, lol.

Favorite memory this week: Well...little man has had the hiccups twice recently. Also Brodie, talking about his baby brother asks "Mommy, are we going to keep him?". It's sweet seeing his little mind working.

Happy 8th Anniversary Sweetheart!

So we've had a crazy week and now I'm sick and haven't been able to do much planning for our anniversary but all I can think about is how amazing my husband is and how blessed I am to be celebrating 8 years of marriage with him.

I can't put into words the love, respect, and admiration I have for you honey, but I want to share just a few of the things I love about you.

• I love the way know me and the way you love me...no matter what.
• I love your heart and passion for God.
• I love your desire to serve God and to share Him with the lost.
• I love the joy and pride that you take in being "Daddy"...to see you in action makes my heart swell.
• I love that you dream big...and follow them.
• I love that you aren't afraid to try new things and you don't give up.
• I love that you know who you are and aren't afraid to stand up for what is right, even when most people wouldn't.
• I love that you only get stronger when the things of this world try to get you down.
• I love that you will fight for me and our kids...even when I don't want you to ;).
• I love that you're my safe place and being in your arms can make everything else fade away.
• I love that I could go on forever about the things I love about you. I love the way you make me feel like 1 in a million and the way you make me laugh and the way you still make my heart melt and that our marriage continues to get stronger.

Happy Anniversary Baby! I look forward to many more with you. It's been an amazing journey these 8 years, to say the least...as you warned me it would be ;). Thank you for being my hero, my protector, my provider, my best friend, lover and so much more. I love you with all my heart today, forever and always....your sunshine :)

Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister-in-law, Christi! I so wish we lived closer (maybe one day, right?), and that we could be there with you today. Christi, you are beautiful inside and out. I pray that you continue to serve Christ passionately with your life and not let anyone or anything hold you back. God has blessed you and is using you to touch people's lives for Him. In a world that has become so comfortable and content with what's easy, it's a breath of fresh air to have a sister-in-Christ not settle for the "luke-warm norm". I am so thankful for you. We love you so much and hope you enjoy your special day.
