Why, then, do we dread the clouds which now darken our sky? True, for a while they hide the sun, but the sun is not quenched; he will be out again before long. Meanwhile those black clouds are filled with rain; and the blacker they are, the more likely they will yield plentiful showers.
How can we have rain without clouds? Our troubles have always brought us blessings, and they always will. They are dark chariots of bright grace. These clouds will empty themselves before long, and every tender herb will be gladder for the shower. Our God may drench us with grief, but He will refresh us with mercy. Our Lords love-letters often come to us in black-edged envelopes. His wagons rumble, but are loaded with benefits. His rod blossoms with sweet flowers and nourishing fruits. Let us not worry about the clouds, but sing because May flowers are brough to us through April clouds and showers.
O Lord, the clouds are the dust of Thy feet! How near Thou art in the cloudy and dark day! Love beholds Thee, and is glad. Faith sees the clouds emptying themselves and making the little hills rejoice on every side. --C.H. Spurgeon

Visit to Grandma and Grandaddys
So Brodie and I got to go to Atlanta to visit Grandma and Grandaddy and Uncle Clay, Aunt Christi, Chastity and Cherish. We were sad Daddy couldn't take off work to go with us and we missed him dearly, but it was also a good time to reconnect with family and let the kids play!
Aunt Christi, Brodie, Chastity, Grandma and Cherish.
What a cute pic! Look at those cool shades.
Brodie and Grandma were dancin. Dance Party below!
Brodie and Chastity were dancing and then went the floor in laughter. How cute!
Chastity took Brodie on a ride to the pool in her new jeep.
Brodie and Grandaddy checking out the pool/waterpark.
I love these pictures below from the water park. He was hesitant at first and then got brave and had no fear. I love the expressions on his face as you can see he is loving every moment.
Oh the sweet faces of Cherish...
Bathtime fun!

Brodie and Cherish playing in dirt and making mud pies.
My sweet boy blowing bubbles.
Of all the toys to play with, the pampers box was a hit.
Grandma had birdhouses for the grandkids to paint. Aunt Christi helped Brodie paint his pirate ship.
He looks so serious. He did such a great job painting it.
All done! What a good lookin pirate ship! (Thanks Aunt Christi for your help :)
Grandma and Grandaddy also had each of the kids make a stone. This was Brodie's.
Kangaroo Jacks for Savannah's Birthday :)
Happy Birthday Savannah! Savannah's birthday party was at Kangaroo Jacks this year. We had never been to there before so this was a special treat for Brodie. He had a blast, and wore Daddy out in the process!
