Christmas Season Pics

These are a few Christmas season pics. This first one was an attempt at a family photo...lol..so that didn't quite work out. Brodie is definately a clown these days ( I know he must get this from his daddy). He is such a joy and keeps us laughing all the time.

Again...we're trying to take a picture and Brodie is thinking about those presents and which one he's going to open.lol.

These pics are when we took him to see Santa. He loved Santa this year and did not want to wait in line to see him. He kept saying "my turn".

Brodie definately wasn't into the family photo idea. lol
So he finally got to see Santa and he did great. He looked at him and talked to him but only smiled a little for the picture. I dont have it to upload but maybe I'll scan it later.

This was after he sat on Santa's lap. This is the polar express. That look looks a little mischievious to me...

Decorating for Christmas 2008

So these are some pics of our family getting the tree up and decorated. Brodie was so excited and absolutely loved hanging the ornaments especially his. We also got out the nativity scene and Brodie's favorite is always "baby Jesus".


So this is Daddy putting our tree up. For right now we have a fake one..when Brodie is big enough and will get excited about going to pick out a real one we may do that. For now..this is good for us :). This is Brodie hanging one of the first ornaments. He chose "Lightening McQueen" from the Cars movie.

He then hung the rest of the cars characters. He was so excited and had his own little spot on the tree where he liked to hang "his ornaments".

Brodie's first wedding - Abbey and Derek Gaskill

So we took Brodie to his first wedding (since kids were invited)..Abbey Pegram and Derek Gaskill got married in November. These pics are only from the reception and in some you will see he was getting sleepy but you will also see him tearing up the dance floor.lol.

We were grateful to celebrate this special day with Abbey and Derek as they begin their lives together. It is awesome to see the love they each share for the Lord and to now use that as they continue to serve Him together.

Playhouse Disney Live!...Handy Manny!!!

We were excited to be able to take Brodie to see Playhouse Disney Live, but more specifically, Handy Manny! We had a blast and Brodie loved every moment. We were fortunate to get some really good seats considering we got them at the last minute. It was definately worth it and a memorable event for us all.

Brodie, as Handy Manny's #1 Fan! After the show, Handy Manny's girlfriend came up to us and asked if she could take Brodie's picture for Handy Manny. I guess it was pretty obvious that he was Handy Manny's #1 fan considering he had the Handy Manny shirt, hat, doll, hammer, cup, flag...etc, lol. Anyway, we thought it was pretty cool for her to pick him out (of course he was the cutest kid there!...I guess I'm a little biased :))...she said Handy Manny would come out and see us but he wouldn't be dressed as Handy Manny anymore...bummer.

Brodie does like Mickey Mouse so he enjoyed this part too. And we got to do the "hotdog dance".

The Little Einsteins. He likes them okay...Rocket is his favorite on this show.
Winnie the Pooh was there too, they were okay but Brodie kept saying "Handy Manny! Where are you?!" lol)
