Easter 2009

Daddy and Brodie Easter morning telling the Easter story. We opened an egg each day for the 12 days leading up to Easter and inside each egg was something that told another piece of the Easter story. Brodie loved doing this and it amazed me at how much he remembered and still talks about pieces of the story. I love how tender their hearts are at this early age and how they take in everythinng.

Moments with Grandma

I love this pic of Grandma with her two boys :).

Grandma came in to visit for the Easter weekend! We all enjoyed our time with her while she was here and were sad to see her go. It's tough sometimes having family so far away but we're thankful for the moments we do get. Brodie warmed right up and was her buddy for the weekend :). Here are some moments we had while she was here.

We had some nice weather so we took a trip to the zoo with friends. I have so many pictures of the animals from previous trips that I didn't take many of them this time. Just the one of the lion because its always hard to get a good shot of them!

Thomas and Friends LIVE!

So Brodie really wanted to go see Thomas and we got a really good deal on some good seats, so we decided to go. It was good, definately better than I expected it to be...we really didn't know what to expect. Anyway, Brodie liked it and was adorable doing some of the motions along with the songs. He was also happy to have his popcorn :).
